Jammu, March 29 (KNO) : Police on Friday claimed to have arrested an accused who was evading arrest from last over one year. “On Thursday, a police party of PS RS Pura arrested an accused who had been evading arrest since the last one and a half years,” police said.
Police party led by SHO RS Pura, Insp. Chanchal Singh, tracked and arrested the accused, namely, Rockey Kumar @ Billa, son of Ashok Kumar of Gagian, RS Pura, he said. Police said he had been evading arrest for the last one and half years in relation to FIR No. 79/2017 under section 307/341/323/34 RPC, 4/25 Arms Act.
The accused has also been involved in other criminal cases in PS RS Pura, including FIR No. 118/2014 u/s 324/34 RPC, FIR No. 122/2015 u/s 341/323 RPC and FIR No. 188/2015 u/s 452/323 RPC 4/25 Arms Act.(KNO)
